Kathy is the Project Officer for QUT Entrepreneurship and has been involved since the initiative’s inception. Her role involves working closely with Executive Director, Rowena Barratt, varies broadly from day to day logistics to contributing to strategy.
Extremely experienced in event management and business, Kathy’s career has spanned across four continents. She has managed teams and hit key KPIs, primarily in business growth. Kathy has been instrumental in the expansion of various companies, including a South African travel company from startup to number two in the country and a similar trajectory again when based in Dubai.
Kathy is most passionate about the future impact that QUT Entrepreneurship can have both in the university and for the wider community.
