Yasmin Grigaliunas is the CEO and Co-founder of the World’s Biggest Garage Sale (WBGS) and is one of the great leaders of Australia’s circular economy. WBGS creates solutions to commercialise the circular economy through the activation of dormant goods for good. Think large-scale events, pop-ups, precincts, education, recommerce and resource recovery. You will likely have seen Simon Sinek’s famous Ted Talk “Start with Why”. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone living their ‘Why’ more fully. Yas speaks often of being authentic, always shares positivity and energy, is the personification of the give-first spirit of entrepreneurship and is amazing at building a community and bringing people along on her journey. Yasmin was awarded the Yurika Award for Sustainability in Business by the Brisbane city council.
