Murrumu Walubara Yidindji was the NAIDOC Youth of the Year 1999 and Ship for World Youth Australian Delegation Member. He has been a journalist for NITV and SBS and member of the Canberra Press Gallery. In 2012 was one of the first journalists to obtain an interview with Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. To top it all off, Murrumu is also the foreign affairs minister of the Sovereign Yidindji Government micronation, having renounced his Australian citizenship in 2014.
